I often get asked how to set up a Facebook page, so I’ve set up this guide to help out….
- Go to the Facebook “create a page” page (if that makes sense).
- Choose one of the 6 options that closes suites your business or requirement. After clicking on one of the boxes, some sub options appear. If none of these seem relevant then it’s likely you’ve selected the wrong option for the Facebook page type.
- Fill out all the required details; tick the “I agree” box and then click “Get started”.
- The page is now ready to edit.
The way administrating the Facebook page works, is it being a bit like a sub account of your main personal account. If you’re doing this on behalf of a business then you can add a second administrator by getting them to like the page and then you can click next to their name and click “admin”.
