The latest WordPress 3.5 Update is currently in beta testing, but it might be worth making a note of some of the changes in preparation to upgrading.
- XML-RPC is now enabled by default – caution, this has security implications
- Link Manager is hidden – this is a good thing, but if you’re used to using it then you’ll need the plugin to fix it.
The biggest overhaul, is the change to the way images are uploaded, saved, insert and displayed.
There’s more changes, most of them are performance improvements, or aimed at developers.
I’ll continue to keep you posted on any other changes to the WordPress 3.5 Update.
